Schools

The area is called ‘home’ by many families, boasting a range of schools, including the seasoned New Hanover High School, which recently marked a century of shaping young minds and creating lasting memories.

Transportation

Although most of Wilmington requires a car, downtown will be the most pedestrian friendly place to live! There is some public transportation available through the Wave bus system and plentiful Ubers and Lyfts, private car services.  It is easy to get anywhere in Wilmington or out to the interstate with quick access to highway 74, 421, 17, 421 and I-40! Even the airport (ILM) is less than a 10 minute drive down the road.
